The current Atelier Method is a form of fine art instruction often modeled after the private art studio schools of 15th to 19th century Europe. Taking its name from the French word for "artist's studio".
Gulf Coast Atelier was founded to further the practice and education of artists working in the Contemporary Classical Realist tradition. We operate under the strong conviction that creativity and experimentation can only succeed and prosper when built on a solid core foundation .
