Description
Green Tree has been educating students
with special needs since 1957, marking 50 years
of achievement and innovation in education.
Green Tree School is a state licensed, Approved
Private School (APS), with two campuses
located in the historic Germantown area of
Philadelphia. We are the oldest school
providing specialized education in the city.
Green Tree serves approximately 150
students from Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. No tuition or fees are charged for any students. Funding for our comprehensive
programs is provided through state and federal
dollars, as well as gracious donations and
generous contributions by thoughtful
individuals, foundations and corporations.
Each student population presents its own
unique and challenging educational issues. To
meet the array of issues faced by our students,
the Green Tree School uses a multidisciplinary,
therapeutic approach in its education process.
