Description

Eclectic Theater Company (formerly Green Theatre Productions) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit professional theater company. Our mission is to raise environmental & social awareness through theatre & media. We produce original, new, classic & contemporary plays and help sponsor independent film. Founded in 2000, we have produced plays and benefits yearly. In 2004 we began SPDV: Teen Sketch Comedy, a program in which teen performers write & act in their own sketch comedy show. In 2005 we became the Seattle producer of The 24 Hour Plays and began a Shakespeare In The Parks initiative, bringing classic plays to underserved communities. In 2006 we began curating the Odd Duck Studio venue and presenting an eclectic mix of classic, contemporary and new works for the stage.
