Description

The purpose of the foundation is to educate and train owner/builders and professionals in design and construction of all types of buildings; research and evaluate all types of sustainable building materials and other renewable resources to create healthy, nontoxic, energy efficient and sustainably design and constructed buildings (homes, schools, churches, commercial spaces, and others); use and support renewable energy (solar, wind) and water conservation (greywater, catchwater) and waste management (composting toilets, wetland sewers) as solutions to energy, water and waste management problems;
and in the process create new agricultural products and markets, support localization through the creation of cottage industries and regional distribution systems; and help individuals, businesses, institutions, government agencies, bankers and lenders, realtors and appraisers move to sustainable practices and building structures.
