Description

Green Hope is an orphanage and school in Olgilai Village (outside of Arusha), Tanzania. Our mission is to empower the youth of Olgilai by affording them the opportunity to break from the systematic educational discrimination present in East Africa against the rural poor. We are currently working towards expanding Green Hope's facilities by adding more classrooms, as well as making the orphanage self-sustaining through the installation of rainfall-accumulation basins and helping with cultivating crops for food for the children. The Green Hope Orphanage, Inc. is incorporated as a nonprofit in the state of Pennsylvania.
