Vision We envision a future for the Northern Plains that is good for people, business, and the environment.
Mission Our contribution to this very broad vision is to accelerate the transition to a renewable and carbon-neutral energy system by bringing together key public and private leaders from across the region to:
Develop consensus on needed policy reforms and see them become law;
Catalyze development and demonstration of promising technologies;
Identify, and sometimes manage, high priority research that could speed commercialization of such technologies; and,
Deliver targeted public education and outreach on the challenges and benefits of next-generation energy options.
