Description
The Great Neck Senior Center, founded in 1954 provides seniors 60 years plus with a variety of social, educational, physical, mental health-and health related services, social services, information and referrals. The Center is open 5 days a week for
- nutritious hot lunches
- transportation to and from the Center
- a social model adult day care program for physically and/or cognitively impaired seniors .
The Center is a community focal point welcoming all seniors without discrimination in compliance with federal and state law. All participants are treated with dignity and respect and no one is turned away because they cannot or do not wish to contribute.
We encourage all seniors to connect with the Center so that we enhance their quality of life; offering them the opportunity to make new friends, keep the old, be productive, be successful, maintain their vitality of life and their quality of life-quality without compromise.
