Description
Midwest Great Dane Rescue is an all volunteer, not-for-profit 501c3 corporation that facilitates the placement of unwanted Great Danes into loving new homes. We have a spay/neuter requirement for all dogs that we place. As an additional part of our preparation for placement, each Dane receives a Laparoscopic Assisted Gastropexy (LAG), or stomach tack which is a proven preventative of gastric torsion or bloat. If a dog has been abused or needs further medical attention, we provide emotional and medical rehabilitation.
