Description
The Great Books Foundation supports reading and lifelong learning by enabling people of all ages to become participants in and leaders of Shared Inquiry. Shared Inquiry is a method of discussion that helps participants generate and develop their ideas in collaboration with others. Shared Inquiry, and the Foundation's two main programs--Junior Great Books and the adult Great Books Program--are the principal means by which the Foundation pursues its mission, to help people think and share ideas. More than one million children learn how to read and think critically with Junior Great Books, our program for K-12 students. A 501(c)3, the Great Books Foundation welcomes contributions to support reading in schools and for adult programs that promote lifelong learning. To learn more, visit www.greatbooks.org.
