Description

Gratz College, located in suburban Philadelphia, is the first independent college of Jewish studies in the United States. Founded in 1895, Gratz College is an academic instituiton with a rich tradition of training educators for over a century. Today, the college is a diverse, spirited center of learning with on campus and online programs. In addition to our Jewish studies progams, Gratz College offeres a thriving graduate program for K-12 educators in public and non-public schools in Pennsylvania and Maryland. Gratz College operates the Jewish Community High School, the nations largest supplimental Jewish hebrew school as well as a thriving continuing education program teaching hebrew, yiddish and providing cultural and educational programming.
