Blandford Nature Center (BNC) is 143 acres of diverse ecosystems within the confines of Michigan's second largest city, Grand Rapids. Blandford is a place for wildlife, students and members of the community to retreat. As an educational facility of the Grand Rapids Public Schools, Blandford Nature Center provides a wide array of historical and nature-based educational programs for people of all ages! BNC's Wildlife Education Center gives visitors a chance to get a closer look at live animals such as owls, turtles and other animals wild to Michigan. The nearly 5 miles of trails provide a picturesque setting for a hike or ski. Come visit BNC and discover (or rediscover) one of Grand Rapids' greatest treasures.
