The Grand Opera House, a 1,200-seat National Historic Landmark theatre, is the largest nonprofit presenting arts organization in Delaware.
Because the performing arts are an integral dimension of life and historic buildings are a valuable segment of American culture, The Grand Opera House strives to expand people's horizons by presenting a wide variety of artistically acclaimed performers and by preserving one of Delaware's architectural landmarks.
Established in 1973, The Grand Opera House, Inc., has enriched the quality of our community for nearly 35 years with programming that reflects and celebrates the cultural diversity of our community and opportunities for individuals of all ages, abilities and socio-economic backgrounds to experience the arts and arts education.
