Description
The Institute's mission is "improving the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities by reducing the toll of substance abuse through education, research, and community partnerships." Through federal and state grants, we develop and implement programming for physicians, health professionals, students of all ages, and consumers. One of our current initiatives is to promote the adoption of evidence-based treatment practices by providers throughout the public system in the state.
