Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina creates opportunities for people to enhance their lives through training, workforce development services and collaboration with other community organizations. Each year, Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina serves over 10,000 people in its training programs and places over 1,200 people into jobs. The organization generates funds by transforming donations of clothing and household items into career development programs, skills training classes, placement services and other services for individuals with disabilities and disadvantages.
