Description

Good Samaritan Hospice is one of the few nonprofit, free-standing hospices founded on Christian principles and serving Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler and northern Westmoreland counties. Our vision of what hospice care should be, began in 1998 and continues to grow as we strive to meet the needs of the terminally ill in the communities which we serve. The hospice approach is comfort care, when a cure is no longer probable. We meet our patients along their life’s journey and walk with them at this very sacred time focusing on their physical, spiritual and emotional needs. Residents at The Good Samaritan House in Wexford and Cabot Unit receive 24 hour care by compassionate team members.
