Description

Good News Mission, Inc. dba Good News Minisatries is located in Indianapolis, IN and was established in 1950 as a rescue mission for homeless men. Our mission is to preach the gosple of Jesus Christ among the disadvantaged of the inner city and establish them in independent Christian living with a reliance on God. Today, we operate a homeless Men's Shelter (Good News Mission), homeless Family Shelter (Good News Family Shelter), free medical care for the homeless and uninsured working poor (Good Samaritan Health Clinic), inner city youth outreach (Good News Youth Center) and free summer youth camp for disadvantaged children (Camp Good News). Each day over 200 needy men, women and children seek assistance with food, shelter, clothing, medical care, educational opportunities, job training and spiritual counseling through one or more of our ministries.
