Description
Our school is a California Distinguished K-5 elementary school that serves a diverse group of students. We are unique in having a two acre farm on site with sheep, goats, chickens, roosters, geese, ducks, pigs and rabbits as well as an aviary with numerous birds. We have won the prestigious Golden Bell award for using our farm and garden to teach math and science to our students. Our farm is run by volunteers and one Ocean View School District employee, so we need help raising funds for the animals as well as for extra programs such as field trips, assemblies, and Meet the Masters Art program.
