All children deserve excellent teachers.

Awards amazing and exceptional teachers in Illinois the Golden Apple award for their effort and talents in education.

Golden Apple scholars are college students who recieve scholarships, attend Summer Institute at Depaul University where they work in Chicago's innercity summer schools and attend classes taught by Golden Apple's award winning teachers, and pledge to work in schools of need for 5 years after graduation.
