Description
Golden Age Hobby House of Houston, TX is a
community based non profit organization that was
established in 1971. Golden Age Hobby House of
Houston has a mission to serve the greater Harris County community by providing comprehensive
support services to the senior citizens and youth
of its service area.
We provide day activities for approximately 45 seniors who play board games, view movies, go
on field trips and participate in private sector
presentations and entertainment. We also have a
computer lab which they utilize the send/receive
E-mails, write letters and do research. This com-
ponent of the program has been quite successful
in bridging the digital divide.
