Description
G.O.A.L.S. for Women’s African American Family Counseling Center provides culturally competent mental health support to inner city, low income women and their children who identify with the African American experience.
Our Intensive Counseling, Case Management, and Family Empowerment Program is a culturally relevant, innovative service for women, children, and transitioning youth of the African American experience. We specialize in meeting the needs of clients who are survivors of trauma. We provide our services in a non-threatening, supportive, nurturing and empowering environment. Our approach addresses the impacts of racism, sexism, classism, stigma, substance abuse, domestic violence, and other forces of oppression and discrimination.
