Description
GVA is a charter school that opened in Aurora, CO, in 2007. We are a K-8 elementary and middle school with two full language immersion tracks, in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish, and a pilot French immersion program. By third grade children receive 50% of their instruction in English and 50% in the second language. GVA uses a Global Literacy Educational Model, which integrates the academic curriculum with a rich multi-cultural, perspective-taking component.
