Description

Global Safe Haven Network is a Nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and providing safe travel for young adults around the world through education/training, travel support, and protection. It was born out of tragic circumstances: In 2003, Alyson Ilene Kaplan, a 20 year old college student on spring break, embarked on the trip of a lifetime, travelling throughout Europe. Severe weather left her standed. Alone and in an unfamiliar environment, Alsyon befriended a young man who would later murder her. The Kaplan family have dedicated the rest of their lives to help young travelers from ever having this happen to them.
