Global Roots improves the lives of disadvantaged children by supporting local humanitarians in places where children are suffering due to blight, famine or civil strife. We feel the best way to bring about positive change is to offer assistance to proven humanitarians who have already taken the first step to help needy children in their local community. They are our heroes and it is through them that Global Roots works to protect the world's most valuable asset: its children.
The children we help suffer from a shortage of food, clothing, medical care, education, and responsible adult supervision. They are victims of starvation, poor living conditions and all kinds of abuse including sexual predation. It is our mission at Global Roots to work with our local partners to give exploited children the chance at a normal life.
