Description

Global Medical & Dental Brigades is a secular, international student-operated volunteer organization whose mission is to provide sustained health care to underserved communities throughout the world. Along with affiliate groups at other distinguished universities, our CSUEB team recruits student volunteers and medical professionals, gathers medicine, and then travels overseas to perform these medical brigades. Our current emphasis is to help the impoverished villages of Honduras, Panama, and Ghana. We will hold at least one trip per year. We will recruit dedicated students, nurses, residents, pharmacists, dentists and doctors to volunteer on each trip. Along with the medical brigades, students will visit several community projects that aim to also better the quality of life in these impoverished areas.
