Glide Foundation is one of the largest providers of comprehensive services to low income and disenfranchised people in San Francisco. Glide’s mission is to break the cycles of multi-generational dependency, poverty, and low self-worth by providing a spiritual home of unconditional love. Glide strives to create a healthy community by offering effective services that foster holistic healing in an environment of cultural integrity and diversity.
Consistent with this mission, Glide has created a diverse range of support services that provides more than 750,000 free meals per year; crisis counseling and emergency shelter referrals; primary health care; HIV prevention education; counseling and testing; substance abuse treatments; child care and family support services; afterschool programs; job training and employment services and permanent supportive housing.
