Description
The GHS Cardinal Choirs are comprised of three groups: Women’s Chorus, Concert Choir, and Vocal Ensemble. Women’s Chorus has over 40 members, some of whom have never been in choir before. Concert Choir is the intermediate group numbering more than 30 members – 13 of whom are men. Vocal Ensemble is the top choir at GHS with 9 females and 4 males. Throughout the year, all three choirs can be found performing at district choral conferences and other venues, including four school concerts occurring in October, December, March, and May. Besides performing, choir members love to spend time with each other, whether it be during class, an out-of-school activity, or just hanging out in the choir room after school. The Cardinal Choirs are proudly under the direction of Ms. Amanda Estes, who is in her fifth year of teaching at Glendale.
