The organization was born out of the desire, commitment and passion of many to continue sharing the mission and vision of Gawad Kalinga Philippines (GK). GK USA Foundation is the official representative of GK in the US.
GK USA, working hand-in-hand with GK Headquarters Philippines, envisions a world free of poverty, by helping build caring and sharing communities, built by an empowered people, with renewed hope and restored dignity, throughout the world.
