Description
Through its Gift of Sight program the Foundation works to give eye exams and glasses to people who cannot afford them. Recipients of the Foundation's exams and glasses are identified by other nonprofit organizations, which screen them for need, both visual and financial, and bring them to the Foundation's service sites. The Foundation's program includes two Vision Vans, which travel North America delivering free eye exams and glasses to children. In conjunction with Lions Clubs International, the Foundation also provides eye exams and recycled glasses, donated in the U.S., to developing countries.
