Girls Incorporated of the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area (Girls Inc. WDCMA) is a local affiliate of Girls Incorporated, the national non-profit organization that inspires all girls to be strong, smart and bold!
In a safe and supportive environment, Girls Inc. delivers research-based programs to girls from ages 6 to 18. Our programs encourage girls to identify personal goals and develop the skills necessary to be successful adults - ready to make their own contributions to society. Major programs address STEM fields-science, technology, engineering and math; health and wellness including pregnancy, drug abuse and violence prevention; media literacy, economic literacy, and leadership/career development.
