Description
Mission: Build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Girl Scout leadership development programs help girls—including girls in under-resourced communities—develop positive values & the personal and leadership skills needed for success in our high-pressure, ever-changing world. There is strong evidence that participation in Girl Scouts creates a sense of civic duty, improves student motivation, self-esteem, confidence, academic achievement, respect for others, and aspirations for careers.
We offer hundreds of programs focused on Business & Financial Literacy, Health & Wellness, Girls Go Tech (STEM), Arts & Culture, and Outdoor Adventure & Environment. We also offer summer day & overnight camps, career exploration and service opportunities. Our geographic reach is all of LA County and portions of San Bernardino, Kern and Ventura Counties. We serve girls, grades K-12, of all ethnicities, religions, socioeconomic backgrounds, and abilities.
