Girl Scouts is a comprehensive, informal educational program focused on the interests and abilities of girl’s ages 5-17. Besides the traditional troop setting, Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma offers an increasing amount of services to at-risk girls. Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma serves 30 counties covering 30,000 square miles, serving over 14,000 girls and adults.
Girl Scouts is the premiere leadership development program for girls today, based on three pillars: 1) Discover – Girl Scouts explore their world, envisioning and preparing for a positive future. 2) Connect – Girl Scouts understand and care about the needs of others. 3) Take Action – Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
