Girl Scouts of the Calumet Council is a 501(c)(3) organization providing programs for more than 52 years in thirteen communities in Northwest Indiana and bordering Illinois. Our council provides educational, recreational and developmental programs and services to an average of 4,000 girls annually. The Girl Scouts is the world's preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls. Our Council focuses on helping girls develop the skills necessary to face life's challenges, inspiring them to develop a sense of individualism, leadership and self-confidence, and providing them with safe, educational, recreational,and skill building activities that will advance their positive participation in society.
