Gilda’s Club is about living with cancer whatever the outcome. No one understands what it’s like to have cancer better than another person who is going through a similar experience. Our members serve as the experts in their own cancer experience.
The community created at Gilda’s Club brings insight and compassion that can be tapped and shared with others for the benefit of all. Membership includes laughter…yet we make room for tears, too.
Unfortunately, cancer is so common that virtually every Georgia family has been touched by it. When Gilda’s Club opens in Atlanta, the families touched by cancer and their friends will have a much needed place to go for emotional & social support. And yes…laughter.
