Gilda's Club DelawareValley is 7,000 warm and welcoming square feet dedicated to building social and emotional support for anyone touched by cancer. In our homelike clubhouse members share hopes, fears, wisdom and laughter, while learning to live with cancer. Members and volunteers of all ages, cancer types, cultures and socio-economic status come together to meet others with like experiences. Each member's program utilization is structured thoughtfully with the support of licensed mental health professionals and designed to restore a sense of control and well-being. Our "Basic Three Plus" program includes support and networking groups, workshops and lectures, social events and specialized children's activities. Our program is always free of charge and we provide a fundamental resource to many people who could not otherwise access it.
