Description
The Gila Conservation Education Center (GCEC) is a non-profit organization based in Silver City, New Mexico. We are a coalition of groups, government agencies, businesses, schools, and community members who are dedicated to creating a society who possesses the attitude, skills, knowledge, commitment, and motivation to actively participate in natural resource conservation in rural southwestern New Mexico. Through our programming, we provide conservation education to more than 3,500 K-12 children and adults each year.
