Gifts of Love is a charitable organization in Avon CT that helps meet the basic needs of individuals and families experiencing temporary financial crises, so they can achieve or maintain self-sufficiency. We provide basic needs – food, clothing, furniture, household items, energy assistance – to people in our area, but in order to qualify for our program they need to be working. When times are toughest, the working poor who don’t qualify for many government programs are often hit the hardest. We serve thousands of people across more than thirty Connecticut towns and right here in Avon. Gifts of Love’s clients are hardworking people who are struggling to make ends meet.
