Get Your Guts in Gear, Inc. (GYGIG) is a 501(c)(3) public charity. Formed by patients with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, GYGIG is committed to raising awareness of these diseases, and to raising funds for like-minded charities. Collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis affect at least 1.4 million Americans, at least 100,000 of whom are under the age of 18.

Funds raised through GYGIG’s events support GYGIG’s mission of awareness-raising, and for 2007, our Ride will benefit the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America, the United Ostomy Associations of America, the Colon Club, the IBD Quilt Project, Inc. and GYGIG, organizations on the front lines of funding research, educating about IBD, raising awareness about these diseases, and providing vital services to those with IBD or living with ostomies.
