Description

GHARR, Inc offers a place to shelter large and small domestic animals that have been removed from abusive or neglectful situations, or that are otherwise unwanted and at risk of being euthanized. Over the years, people in these communities have gotten to know us through our work with abused, ill, injured, and unwanted animals. Sometimes this work has meant that we have assisted Law Enforcement personnel; sometimes it means that we provide nursing services for sick or injured animals.
We heal physical and emotional trauma, so that each animal can trust people again and
socialize normally with other animals. Any animal that cannot be placed in a permanent
adoptive home may live out their remaining years in retirement at the shelter.
