Description
It is the mission of Genesis Development to create opportunities, choices and support for people with disabilities. Genesis was incorporated in 1973 and is a provider of residential and vocational services for people with mental and physical disabilities throughout Iowa. Office locations include Jefferson, Storm Lake, Boone, Winterset, Vinton, Belle Plaine and Indianola. Genesis has work centers in Jefferson, Storm Lake and Indianola and maintains a 10-person RCF/MR and twenty group homes throughout western Iowa. Genesis has received eight 3-year CARF accreditation awards and is certified by the Iowa Department of Human Services, Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services and the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals.
