Description
Generation Joy, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, is committed to “kids helping kids.” This simple philosophy aims to empower local students to use their talents and gifts to engage their community in the lives of those in another country, especially youth.
Through an annual, student-driven campaign, communities pool their diverse resources to help meet the significant educational and basic needs of children in South Africa. The campaign culminates with a select group of students traveling to meet the community they worked to serve.
Generation Joy hopes to continue to expand its reach both locally and globally, connecting more students with their own potential and their peers worldwide
