Description

The Infant Development Center (IDC) of San Francisco was originated as a model child care program at Lone Mountain College in 1978, using the Pikler Institute, an orphanage in Budapest, Hungary, as a basis of philosophy and approach. IDC renamed this site Gates & Bridges Preschool in 1994 and is a private, nonprofit program serving the needs of infants, toddlers and their working parents.
