The Gary Center was founded in 1971 by The Stafford Family in memory of their son Gary who died as a result of substance abuse. Seeing a need in the community for a walk in drug and alcohol center, the community pulled together to establish a safe place for families where they can overcome their additions and depressions. Over the years The Gary Center has evolved into one of North Orange County’s premier comprehensive family resource center serving more than 10,000 individuals annually with core counseling and dental services. All services are on a sliding scale.
