Description

The Gardner CAC is a non-profit human service organization that provides a variety of services for the economically disadvantaged residents of the Greater Gardner area. Since the inception of the CAC in 1970, it has played a vital role in assisting individuals making positive changes in their lives. The CAC provides support in emergency situations to those who are facing temporary difficulties in making ends meet and on-going services whose income does not meet basic living expenses, including the working poor and low fixed incomes. We fill the gap for those who are not eligible for, or who have yet to receive aid from another source. Our services are food distribution, weekly congregate meal, medical transportation, clothing distribution, NWC Help Connection, “Magic of Books”, Fuel Assistance satellite office, Holiday programs, on-line MA Health and Food Stamp applications, emergency assistance and Bonnie Brae application pick-up and drop-off location.
