Description
Gardens of the Fox Cities has been open as a horticultural and recreational resource to the Fox Valley region in Wisconsin since 1996. Located within the City of Appleton’s 138.8-acre Appleton Memorial Park on the north side of the community, the Gardens currently leases 35 acres of the Park under a long-term partnership. The Gardens is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit public garden. Its mission is to promote an appreciation and understanding of plants and gardens in an enriching, inspiring environment. Youth and adult educational programs in gardening, horticulture, ecology and natural history provide year-round learning opportunities for all ages. The Gardens offer a unique venue for year-round special events such as weddings, receptions and business meetings.
