The Fuller Center for Housing was founded in the spring of 2005. After 29 years of service to the poor with Habitat for Humanity, Millard Fuller, as founder and president of Habitat, realized that his gifts could best serve that well-established organization by creating The Fuller Center to expand the effort to end poverty housing to new areas, and to experiment with new approaches to the problem of inadequate housing.
The Fuller Center’s goal is to witness to God’s love by providing opportunities for families everywhere to have a simple, decent place to live. The Fuller Center works in partnership with other organizations that are building and renovating affordable homes for people in need.
