Description
Frontier High School, “A Model School,” provides an educational setting where students are given an alternative opportunity to succeed. Students are referred to Frontier High School by the six comprehensive high schools in the Oxnard Union High School District: Camarillo, Channel Islands, Hueneme, Oxnard, Pacifica and Rio Mesa. Student Study Teams at each of the comprehensive sites meet on a weekly basis to recommend placement in the alternative education programs. The most common factor of students entering our program is credit deficiency. Prior to enrolling at Frontier High School, all students and their parents are required to attend an informative orientation where student expectations are reviewed.
