Description
The mission of the Front Porch of Atlanta is to provide a safe and supportive environment that promotes healing for children who have experienced the death of a parent or sibling.
Our vision is that all Atlanta children will have the support they need while grieving the death of a loved one. The Front Porch of Atlanta, Inc. is a nonprofit center that supports the grief process by providing a place of gathering, promoting an environment of healing, and offering services free of charge. Modeled after other effective children’s grief programs throughout the country, the center offers support for children and their families as they move through the healing process. Age-specific groups of children (ages 3 to 18) and their families gather and share their issues surrounding loss.
