Description

Friendsville Elementary School is a small school in a semi-rural community. The 250 students who attend this K through 5 school are being taught by teachers who are passionate about their profession. Over the past 6 years, Friendsville School has been trying to expand their technology to enhance teaching. Used computers were donated for a computer lab. Money earned from fund raisers is being used to purchase additional technology such as Smart Boards, additional computers and projectors. Friendsville teachers, parents, and students recognize the need for technology to educate on a global level. Because Friendsville Elementary is such a small school, this process is ongoing and slow at times. Supporters of Friendsville value each small step taken to reach such goals.
