Description
Since opening in 2001, Friendship Inn has provided lodging for more than 1,000 guests. Our mission is to provide a “home away from home” for patients and their families who are being treated at the University of Kansas Hospital. As a hospital hospitality house, priority is given to those who live greater than 30 miles from the hospital. For a nominal fee, our guests are able to stay at our beautifully renovated, turn-of-the-century home within walking distance of the hospital. However, if someone is unable to pay, Friendship Inn will not turn them away. Our fundraising efforts help ensure we are able to keep our doors open to all those that need us.
