Description
The Friends of the Mad River is a private, non-profit organization committed to protecting, improving and enhancing the ecological, recreational, and community values of the Mad River and its watershed. Founded in 1990, the Friends work to achieve this goal through research, education, advocacy and cooperative partnerships with neighbors, businesses, governments and other organizations. We work to foster greater understanding and appreciation of the Mad River and its watershed, and help find solutions to problems facing this precious community resource.
